Greetings to Horne Plankowners, This is Larry Goolsby, former STG2 66-69 and was a member of the Sonar gang of 3rd Division.  Third division has had two reunions since the first ship’s reunion in San Diego and my wife and I are hosting one this year September 28 through October 2, 2011 at the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX.  I talked to Ken Youngmann about including all plank owners that are listed on the Horne decklog on the ship’s web page and he thought it would be great to get as many notified of the upcoming reunion and to invite them.  Third Division is cordially inviting you and your spouse  to join us in the next reunion.  We will be making arrangements with the Drury Inn and Suites Riverwalk in San Antonio, Tx .  (check the hotel by clicking here)  In order to assure we have a sufficient  number of rooms blocked, we will need to know if you interested in attending.  Also, check out “San Antonio Riverwalk” and look what it has to offer.
